Hot News From the Barbados Rally Carnival.

The Dimma 206 WRC driven by our man Terry Pankhurst and Co-Driven by Dimma Girl Amanda Craven won its class in the first event of the carnival 'The Sun Beach International Rally Sprint". Our brand new machine then went on to be the star of the show in the highlight of the 2 day event, 'The handicap Challenge'.

The race was between our 206 WRC Cosworth and top local ace and lap record holder of the Valcluse Rally Sprint Circuit, Trevor Manning, aka 'Micey*', in his full spec Evo 5 Mitsubishi Rally Car.

The crowd was on its feet as it was neck and neck all the way on the two mile mixed surface circuit until on the last corner our car was blinded by a huge cloud of dust which forced us to back of enough for 'Micey' to power across the finishing line and take victory.

Much respect from 10,000 watching our car on its maiden event and for the Dimma crew on the their first Rally.
